battlefield in France?



A mother asked President

have to die
at Gettysburg?



A mother asked President


Why did my son
have to die on a
field near
Valley Forge?



Then long, long ago,
a mother asked...



The answer is the same ..



...so that others may have life
and dwell in peace, happiness
and freedom.


Thanks to all the young men that have fought for
our freedom and have committed to that purpose and as an example
to us that freedom has a price. 
Sometimes there is a price to pay with life. 
This price was paid so that we all could live here in freedom
to not be slaves to an evil leader and to have the rights
that our constitution gives us in this country.
Even for those who don't believe in the war and even
for those who don't believe that fighting for freedom
is the righteous thing to do.
We thank you young fellow Americans for your
bravery, commitment and courage to
stay the course for us to live in this Great Country!

Jesus did the same for you and me.  He paid the price for
our freedom.  Even when we didn't believe in what He did.
Even if we didn't believe in the right thing to do...He did it for us.


Romans 5:8
But God demonstrates His own love
toward us, in that while we were still
sinners, Christ died for us.

Romans 10:8-10
8) But what does it say? "The Word is near you,
in your mouth and in your heart" (that is,
the Word of faith which we preach):
9) that if you confess with your mouth
the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart
that God has raised Him from the dead,
you will be saved.
10) For with the heart one believes
unto righteousness, and with the mouth
confession is made unto

If you would like to know more about Jesus, pick up a bible
and read the Gospels:  Matthew, Mark, Luke and John.
Then read how the New Church that believed in Jesus the Messiah
formed and struggled to take a foothold in what we
believe today in Jesus Christ our Savior.
